Haganai is the Fall Season show that I decided to import. It’s not a master piece but I really enjoyed it, so I think it should have great re-watch potential^^.
Packaging:
It’s my first Media Factory Blu-ray but it really looks similar to the shows from other publishers. They also used a plastic slipcase to keep the contents safe. I like the cover illustration (by the light novel’s illustrator Buriki) and that they put illustrations in the anime’s style on the back.
Supplements:
– a CD with an audio drama (24:18) and Yozora Mikazuki’s character song „Pureness Shyness“ by Marina Inoue
– there’s also a booklet (28 color pages) and some cards for the Victory Spark trading card game
– there are two different kinds of cards and of each kind 4 are offered
– the booklet describes the contents of the episodes (4 pages), the characters (Yozora, Sena and Kodaka, mostly pictures, 6 pages), some additional costumes and the visual novel characters (4 pages), the eye catch illustrations (2 pages), the end-card illustraions (2 pages), some promotional illustrations (4 pages), an interview with the writer of the light novel Yomi Hirasaka (2 pages) and an interview with Yozora’s Seiyuu Marina Inoue.

By the way, the small stick figure in the upper left corner produces an animation when the pages are turned quickly (I’m missing the correct expression for this animation technique^^;).

Picture Quality / Audio Quality:
I saw some jaggies but overall the quality is very good. It’s visible that they used SBMV to get rid of bandings and the colors look just beautiful. I didn’t see any artifacts or other problems with the picture.
It’s just a 2 channel PCM mix so nothing special to report here.
Menu Shots:
I wasn’t able to activate a Pop-Up menu and the normal menu is very simple and doesn’t offer any animation or music in the background. At least it’s simple to use…
