Anders als in manch anderen Jahren sind inzwischen schon einige Ehrengäste der Connichi bekannt. Da wird es Zeit, dass ich mal etwas über diese hier schreibe. 😉

Er wird zusammen mit dem Regisseur Seiji Kishi ein Panel geben und auch signieren.
Benyamin Nuss und Mardelas
Benyamin Nuss ist ein Pianist, der in der Videospielszene vermutlich am meisten für seine Arbeit bei der Konzertreihe „Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy“ bekannt ist. Zudem veröffentlichte er auch CDs, auf denen er Stücke von Nobuo Uematsu (u.a. Final Fantasy) und Masashi Hamauzu (u.a. Unlimited Saga) interpretierte. Er wird am Freitagabend ein klassisches Konzert mit Stücken aus Final Fantasy und Kingdom Hearts spielen. Am Samstagabend steht er dann mit Mardelas auf der Bühne. Die melodische Heavy Metal Band trat schon letztes Jahr auf der Connichi auf und wird dieses Jahr neben Stücken von ihrem aktuellen Album auch Stücke von Hitoshi Sakimoto rockig arrangieren, der bekannt ist für seine Kompositionen aus u.a. Final Fantasy Tactis, Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter oder Odins Sphere ist.

Bislang sind die Gäste doch ziemlich gut und vor allem das Gespann aus Makoto Uezu und Seiji Kishi könnte interessante Panels ergeben. Beide waren bei vielen Werken dabei, die teilweise beim Schauen ein paar Fragen zur Entstehung aufkommen ließen.
Die Connichi findet vom 7.9. – 9.9. in Kassel statt und aktuell gibt es noch Freitags- und Sonntagskarten.
