What’s it like making the same episode over and over-nya?

There’s a variety of stuff to do for each production team and even with the subject material being the same there’s plenty which differ,s so it’s interesting.

The answer of a model pupil-nya.

No, no, even with a normal series we often wonder “what would the other team do here?” Seeing that in actuality is very interesting!

I thought I heard one of the people behind groaning that he wants to get it done with-nya…

I think I understand how Nagato feels.

Everyone behind is agreeing-nya. Everyone empathises with Yuki-nyan being really bored-nya…

I don’t know what you are talking about.

If you keep doing the same scene over, your outlook broadens as you can try a variety of methods.

Oh! Everyone behind you is booing loudly-nya! Isn’t that what they really think-nya!?

It’s true! I really think that!!

Haruhi-endless-eight

A small interview with the animation team appeared on the website of Kyoto Animation, which suggests that some of them are also a little bit bored with Endless Eight. But they point out that the results get interesting if different teams are working on the same story and that repetition trains somehow. I must confess that I also think that the different versions look clearly different in terms of design and art direction, and that’s interesting, at least for me. Yuki is definitely more bored than me but I haven’t watched the most recent episode so far….

I copy and pasted a translated version of the interview from Sankaku Complex, but they made not not really clear that the answers seem to be from different people of the team (Background Staff, Photography Staff, Finishing Staff). The interviewer is called „Kuroneko“…so don’t wonder about the -nya:

I updated my episode list in the Trivia section, so I think it will be 2 more Endless Eight episodes^^.
