Während Endless Eight immer noch seinem Namen alle Ehre macht und ich heute durch die Nachricht, dass Evangelion 2.0 (und die GL-Movies) doch nicht die Animagic beehren, etwas niedergeschlagen wurde, gab’s doch 2 kleine Lichtblicke: Zum einen habe ich heute durch Zufall im Animesuki-Forum gelesen, dass die 1. neue Haruhi DVD mit Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody wohl englische Untertitel haben wird, und zwar steht das im Moment nur auf japanisch auf der Kyoto Animation Seite zu der DVD, aber die müssten es ja eigentlich wissen.

Zum anderen hat die Post mir heute die Limited Edition des 3. Haruhi-chan Mangas gebracht. In der Box befindet sich eine Yuki Nendoroid-Petite Figur, ein Kurzmanga (16 Seiten), der wohl die Vergangenheit von Itsuki näher beleuchtet und der eigentliche 3. Haruhi-chan Manga.
While Endless Eight is still endless and I was saddened by the announcement that Evangelion 2.0 (and the Gurren Lagann) ) won’t screen at the Animotion Festival, I encountered at least two small gleams of hope: I read in the Animesuki-Forum that the first new Haruhi-DVD with Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody will contain English subtitles. This is listed on the Kyoto Animation website about the DVD:

Furthermore, I got today the limited edition of the 3rd Haruhi-chan manga in my mail. In the box is a Yuki Nendoroid-Petite figure, a short manga about Itsuki’s past and the 3rd Haruhi-chan manga.
Allzu viele Fotos gibt’s diesmal nicht, die Motive haben sich immer etwas gewehrt und Yuki litt etwas zu sehr unter dem Blitz, so dass ich den dann einfach ausgemacht habe.
Bei der Nendoroid-Petite Yuki sind sowohl Kimidori als auch die Kopfhörer abnehmbar und die Figur ist wirklich sehr niedlich geworden, und kann gerader stehen als es die Fotos es vielleicht haben aussehen lassen^^.
Die Kopfhörer lassen sich zwar nicht so gut fixieren, so dass sie wirklich Ohren abdecken, aber das fällt nicht sonderlich auf. Aber Kimidori konnte ich nach der Photo-Session noch vernünftig fixieren, so dass er sich vernünftig an Yuki’s Kopf anschmiegt.
Der Haruhi-chan Manga ist wohl bis auf einen modifizierten Umschlag der gleiche wie die normale Version. Als weiterer Bonus liegt aber noch ein Kurz-Manga über Itsuki’s Vergangenheit bei, der aber nur 16 Seiten lang ist.

The head phones and Kimidori are removable and the figure is really cute an can stand up straight even if does not look like it on the photos.
The head phones can’t aligned easily to Yuki’s head because of her hair but I was able to align at least Kimidori properly to her head after the photo session.
The Haruhi-chan manga has the same contents like the normal version, but I think the cover was modified slightly. The other bonus item is the 16 page short manga story about Itsuki’s past.

Kein NGE 2.0 auf der Animagic? Puh, zum glück habe ich mir doch nicht auf dem letzten drücker noch ein Ticket geholt. Die Filme hatten mich nämlich schon ziemlich gelockt.
